Do you Like Google? Do you Like Goats? Then you Will Really Like Google

Search engine rankings

How do you feel about goats? Well Google likes them. The lawn at Google headquarters is mowed by goats that they rent from a goat grazing company. And I bet that the goat grazing company has some pretty solid search engine rankings. Those Google rankings are absolutely crucial to being seen on the internet. And being seen on the internet is your meal ticket, because that exposure is what is going to bring in even more business for you.

If you do not rank high enough to be seen on the first page of the Google searches, there is no point in even having a web site, because no one is going to find it. For the goat grazing company, they have something of an advantage because Google hires them. But for you, unless Google hires your services (and what do they need knitted cat sweaters for?), you are going to have to get your Google rankings up the old fashioned way. Search engine optimization.

Search engine optimization is when you organically produce content that is going to get your website more noticed and relevant on the internet. When it becomes more popular like that, the Google search algorithms will take notice and place it higher in the search ranking options. And that is important because 75 percent of search engine users do not even bother to scroll past the first page of the search results.

That search engine optimization manipulating your search ranks is so very important because everyone uses a search engine every time they use the internet. 92 percent of adults in the United States who use the internet use their search engine of choice, most likely Google, at least once a day. And not only do they use their lap tops and desk top computers, but mobile devices, information at the finger tips, are becoming more commonly used. It is estimated that by 2014, mobile device internet usage will surpass that of stationary computers. In 2012, 70 million mobile device users shopped online using their tablets or cellphones. Using blogs, organic click through (which generates 25 percent higher conversion rates than Pay Per Click), social media, and SEO, you can get your site up to the top of Google rankings. It is not unattainable!
